6 CAFÉ HOPPING IN A DAY @ BANGSAR!

6 cafes hopping in a day, seriously?? Oh yeah!

That’s exactly the achieved agenda during one leisure Sunday as part of the wrap up for the latest social platform invasion by the ever rigorous and energetic team of KetchUp Community.

The culmination of this seamless footprints by KetchUp's Blogger Speed Run has all the invited bloggers each geared up with the mission, which is to set forth to all 6 designated hidden gems at the brisk, heterogeneous neighbourhood of the thriving gastronomy hotspot- Bangsar!

Hopping and galloping from one café to another within 6 hours approximately, might sound bit ambitious but certainly not short of anticipated exhilaration as time would be fruitfully filled up with the many insightful stories that are going to be shared by the respective founder of each establishments of the cafes.

After a brief ice breaking session with both new and old buddies at Raj's Banana Leaf Rice, our gleeful trail first kicked off at PULP by Papa Palheta before recapitulated with a bang of caffeine overdose at one of the most extensive coffee selection at Ojo Coffee.

Let’s have a quick run-down about the tour shall we? (=

Pulp is Papa Palheta's flagship store in Malaysia- an independent coffee boutique from Singapore. This store resides within the premises of Art Printing Works, a historical printing plant which still functions since 1965 in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Pulp supplies coffee equipment and roasted beans both at retail and commercial level. It is equipped with a cupping room, a service workshop and a cafe which serves coffee and pastries.

Its sheer dedication towards the legendary roaster of this red cherries as well as the love for coffee is immensely reflected in the customized nook for Cupping Room, C-Platform and Coffee Tech Workshop inside the café. Indeed a true-blue one-stop centre for coffee aficionados.

Food here was pleasantly toothsome despite it’s more coffee-centric.

Spearheaded by 3 amigos whose friendships transcends culturally- Danish Chef Albert Frantzen, Taiwanese partner Tung Wei and Malaysian pal, Priscilla, Roost is set to embark on an honest flair healthy and sumptuous repast, which perfectly befitting their  'farm-to-fork' philosophy in delivering only the best and freshest to its guests.

The cozy restaurant is daintily adorned with resplendently colorful cushion, sleek chairs and tables. Amongst them, the sliced cushion captured my interest the best with their unique circular design from the tedious production, all homely crafted by Albert’s mom.
