TRAVEL DAY 2- PART 2| 5D 4 N @ HONG KONG & MACAU

Such an angelic harpist! ^^

As the love for shutterbug instinct is so huge- so much so that I couldn’t fit in all those beautiful moments of wonderful sceneries that have been engraved immortally in the form of photographs, hence this is the Part 2 continuation of my HongKong & Macau Day 2 virtual diary!

So you can expect less words but with more scenic ‘gourmet’ to be feasted visually in this round of sharing (=

After appreciating the historic heritage of Ruins of St. Paul’s, our initial plan to just hop into any casino buses in Macau (based on many input from friends who had travelled here before saying those rides are complimentary and they are more than happy to welcome you aboard to their casinos) was sort of forced to change at the very eleventh hour upon learning that such service no longer available- UNLESS with a proof of receipt spent at the respective casino, only they you’re allowed to board in. Business got really bad hit pretty hard nowadays huh?

Eventually we walked to a nearby bus station and got on one that did pass by the Venetian. After a brief 20 minutes ride, we alighted on the road side upon seeing the grandeur building at the opposite road.

Address: The Venetian® Macao, Estrada da Baía de N. Senhora da Esperança, s/n, Taipa, Macao SAR, P.R. China

Gondola rides are there for those who wish to have a comfy tour in the boat, slowly cruising around the mall.

Kind of reminded me of the French Village at Colmar Tropicalel

A gondolier will serenade you during your romantic ride through the San Luca, Marco Polo or Grand Canals of Shoppes at the Venetian.

Oh, bump into the tall and cute chap in masquerade mask on stilt! Aloha!

When returning back to Hong Kong island itself, we were luckier in the sense that Venetian buses were complimentary for all to enjoy the free shuttle to the Border Gate of Macau Ferry Terminal if you’re taking Turbojet marine vehicle (mini red ship) ^^

It’s already late evening about nearly 8pm when we finally reached ashore. Soon we heeded Romeo’s suggestion to try out some toothsome ramen prepared by Japanese Chef at one cozy hideout that Romeo usually frequented whenever ramen craving kicks in, haha.

Ichitora Ramen (一虎) at Wan Chai!

You can also DIY your bowl of ramen according to your preference- noodle texture, topping, oil etc

I’ve always enjoy hard texture of ramen whenever I get to choose and it seems like pretty on par with the version by Ippudo Ramen, or if you like the dry version of soba, then check out this Mazesoba with soupy gyoza.
